With 15 years’ experience in the gambling industry, I love everything to do with iGaming. From sports betting, through to a cheeky spin on the roulette wheel or a few hands of blackjack, you’ll always find me wagering on something.
Sport is my first love, and I can still remember the first All Blacks match I watched. Sitting on Dad’s knee, aged five… That’s when I knew there was something special about this thing we call sport. You’ll usually find me in front of a match, when I’m not out playing squash or running.
As well as sport, I have grown to become an expert in betting sites and online casinos. I’ve been a professional writer for close to a decade and a half now. In that time, I’ve written about everything under the sun and have settled in the iGaming industry. There’s something alluring about being a writer. The freedom and creativity of it drew me in as a teenager, and I’ve never looked back. Nowadays, I’m inspired to create genuinely useful content that cuts through the piles of muck available online.

I’m a big fan of digging my teeth into a brand, figuring out what they’re all about, then communicating that to readers in an easy-to-understand way.

| Working approach |
Soak everything up like a sponge, digest it, then spit it out in a way that makes sense! For me, I’ve got to do a lot of reading and poking around before I first start writing an article – I need to have a good overall handle on a brand or topic to do it justice.

When I’m not writing, you’ll find me hanging out with my son, watching sport, running, playing squash, sampling new craft beers, or watching trashy reality TV with my wife.

I’m one of those nerds that will sit down for 10 hours and watch the entire final table of the World Series of Poker main event. Outside of that, I’d have to say “21” – nothing like a group of underdogs beating the odds!

| If you were a superhero, what powers would you have? |
I’d like to have a different liquid coming out of each finger on my left hand – water, nutritionally-complete food shake, petrol, liquid gold and beer. Think that would make life pretty fantastic.
